Once you have set the sale date, you have very little time on hand to accomplish and complete all tasks. However it is still not late to stop the foreclosure and with quick work it is possible.
Check out how much time you have on hand from the next minute until the date set for the sale. You will get an idea of how much time you have to complete the things required to be done.
You will need to go through the foreclosure rules and regulations that are applicable to your State. The rules will specify the schedule of actions required from your end with the timelines and specified dates for each activity. Once you have gone through the same, you will know with the timeline available, whether you are in a position to meet the deadlines or not.
Now that you have established sale date, it doesn’t matter you can still re consider your options and evaluate if you wish to stop foreclosure sale and check out if it is still possible.
Internally work out and see if you are able to come up with alternate financial arrangements than to go in for a foreclosure. Discuss various options with your mortgage company and see what options they have to offer. If you haven’t talked to the company before, it is time that you do so.
Of course you can resort to foreclosure without discussion with them and declaring yourself bankrupt under Chapter 13, but it is not quite easy to do so.
Enc of it all, check out your income status and see if you can manage to keep making mortgage payments and also have money for home and expenses. If so they you do not need to go for foreclosure, if not, then may be giving up your home may be a practical option.
This can be very difficult for everyone to give up home and live in other places. But then like many others you will come out of your financial problems in a short while and then once again you will be able to save up enough money to buy another dream home for yourself and your family. It might take a while to get there, but it will surely happen.
